Credit Scores Can Be Questioned and Corrected

Posted by admin on February 14, 2012

Extensive research has proven that the credit reporting system is faulty. These agencies are not related to the Federal government – in fact, they are privately held companies and are in business to make a profit.

What does that mean to you?  When a company wants to report something to a credit bureau (for instance, that you paid your credit card on time) they PAY a fee to these companies to list the information.  However, wrong information finds it’s way onto 85% of credit reports and the credit reporting companies are in no hurry to delete it.  They only get paid a fee for putting it on, they get nothing for taking it off.  You don’t pay them for this, and the person that put it on there in the first place certainly isn’t going to give them more money to take it off.

Despite this information, a majority of Americans believe that the credit reporting system is efficient and accurate – and that once you have bad credit, you must to learn to live with it for seven to ten years.

So how do the credit bureaus ensure that the information they have is correct? They don’t! They simply record the information they have been given – they don’t check it for accuracy (how could they). Additionally the credit bureaus themselves have also been known to make mistakes in transcribing the information given.  Placing information on one James T. Johnson’s account when it should be a different James T. Johnson’s account for instance.

Ignoring these negative items on your credit report can cost you thousands of dollars on house and car payments and can also make a difference in whether you can even get a car or home loan. It pays to have the highest credit score possible.

Delaying can never be to your advantage. One thing is for sure, putting it off won’t help your credit score one bit. So here’s what you must do:

Order your credit reports, go over them and highlight the errors.

Contact Lexingtonlaw and speak to a credit repair specialist. They will explain the process and how they can help you remove these items and get your credit score back up to where it should be.

Why Lexington Law is the Smart Choice for Improving Your Credit

Posted by admin on November 8, 2011

With the current economic situation a family or individual cannot afford to have a low credit score. Especially if this low credit score is caused by negative items that are wrong or outdated. If the reported items are accurate that is another thing but 9 out of 10 people have many errors and if you get those removed your credit score will improve radically.

I read a lot, and research is something I enjoy. I have read so many “experts” who say “you can remove these items yourself and save money”, – REALLY! Anyone can write a credit dispute letter but getting results are what counts. You want real credit recovery not pipe dreams. When these erroneous negative items are challenged and proven wrong the credit reporting agencies are supposed to investigate and remove these items.  However in the real world it doesn’t happen.  Mostly because the dispute isn’t worded correctly or the right kind of supporting documentation isn’t provided.

Then what can you do to get these items removed? If you really want real credit recovery you can let an expert firm like Lexingtonlaw  do it. With those items removed a credit score in the HIGH 600’s or higher is easily obtained. It certainly is possible for a credit score even in the 300 range can be brought up to the 700’s. With Lexington Law this happens every day.  LEGALLY!

Lexington Law has been in the business of helping people that need credit correction for 20 years and to date have removed over 500,000 negative items from their clients credit reports. One of the testimonials I found on their website was from a client that had tried the “do it yourself” route without results. They then hired another firm and spent lots of money on them without results. Then they found out about Lexington Law and decided “why not go with the best” and their testimonial reported that within one month they got results!

Rather than tell you what these people said let me just give you two or three real life testimonials from actual clients:

“I’m sure you hear this all the time but I couldn’t stop singing songs of praise to the staff at the Lexington Law Firm. I got an updated copy of my Experian Credit Report today and I was so happy I started jumping up and down in the driveway. They deleted six out of nine negative entries — and in less than two months — now that’s what I call SERVICE. I can’t wait to see the negative entries fall off my other reports as well! Thanks a million!”
